I am an abstract painter, and live with my wonderful husband in fabulous, funky Austin, TX. I also freelance in web design, graphic design and illustration. But mostly, I’m a painter.
I received my BFA in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, but it was too cold for my southern blood, so I headed back to Austin after graduating.
I paint primarily in oil, acrylic and encaustic.
I have just started this blog to accompany my Design website, so that I can post tips and ideas from an artist and designer’s point of view that I hope will be helpful to other artists, designers, and anyone else who cares to spend a few minutes here.
Bear with me as I build my blog, and possibly redesign it, and definitely add content.
