Dream House Master Bathroom

The theme for the master bathroom is a study in squares and circles, with the color palette a soothing watery green, white and chocolate brown combination.
This design blends the style of the couple's 1937 house with the
modern style they have used throughout the rest of the house. The
tub is a modern take on the slipper or claw foot tub often found
in houses of this vintage [1]

done here in glass and brass[2]

The shower is clad in 2" glass tiles

which are repeated
on the shelf above the tub's modern faucet. The floor of the main
bathroom is tiled in white hexagonal tiles, a style original to the
period of the house, while the bench and floor of the shower are
done in a pale green stone.
The shower has a built-in bench, with both an overhead rain shower
head and a massage shower head on a sliding pole to accommodate the
different heights of the couple.
For storage of towels, candles, and various bathing jams and jellies,
there are shelves built into the wall spaces flanking the tub

A full-length mirror is mounted on the door to the large walk-in
closet.
The
modern lines are continued with a tankless toilet

All the woods in the room are finished
in a deep chocolate brown. The windows are frosted and further
softened by curtains made of an elegant crinkled sheer white fabric.
Round framed mirrors hang above the oval sinks, and are flanked on either
side by simple conical sconces

A simple modern-style cabinet between the sinks provides storage for toiletries, with more decorative
items placed on the freestanding shelves above both the cabinet
and the toilet.
