The furniture in the client's living room was old and out of date. She wanted a whole new design with a modern flair, that would seat at least six people, and give her a comfortable and inviting place to entertain guests or curl up and read.

We replaced everything. We chose a clean-lined extremely comfortable sofa, easy chair and ottoman in a pale butter color, and contrasted these with dark chocolate wood round end tables and an oval coffee table, all with plenty of shelves on which to place all her various reading materials.

We picked gorgeous modern oval table lamps and matching floor lamp, and found two additional chairs in a deeper butter colored wicker that can be used either for sitting in the living room, or pulled up to the dining room table for additional dinner guests.

We had posters of some of her favorite impressionist artists framed to complement the blue walls and the buff-colored furniture.

Soon we will complete the room with shelves, a rug, pillows, drapes and accessories.
